Google Home now also offers smoother, faster camera experiences. You can quickly jump forward or backward 10 seconds in your video timeline with a simple double-tap. Scrolling through your history now feels noticeably more fluid. If you have a Google TV, you can even keep an eye on your Nest Cams with a picture-in-picture view while watching your favorite shows. And for those moments when you’re not near your phone, Google has added more Google Home for web controls. They allow you to adjust lights, temperature, and even unlock doors directly from your browser.

The update also brings broader compatibility and useful insights. There’s now an expanded device integration with a new smoke and carbon monoxide experience for Nest Protect, alongside increased support for third-party Matter locks. For those who already own a Nest x Yale lock, its features are now fully integrated and accessible.
