The OnePlus 13T officially launched earlier this week with its enticing smaller size, giant battery, and powerful specs, but it’s only available in China so far. Will the OnePlus 13T come to other countries? The truth is that we don’t know, for now, but we can reason out how likely it is.
To recap what the OnePlus 13T brings to the table, the device has a 6.32-inch display that’s smaller than your average Android flagship. Despite the smaller overall footprint, though, the device still packs a punch on the spec sheet. It has a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a truly massive battery. The 6,260 mAh battery is larger than the pack inside of the standard OnePlus 13, and also supports 80W wired charging. This is also the first OnePlus device to ditch the Alert Slider for a new “Shortcut Key” that can be customized, similar to the iPhone’s Action Button. The biggest thing missing on this device is in the camera department, as there are only two lenses on the back instead of the usual three.

It’s a compelling device that’s relatively unique to the Android market, but it’s also only been announced so far for sale in China.
There’s been no official word yet on whether or not the OnePlus 13T will make its way to other countries. And, sadly, things aren’t looking good.
First and foremost, OnePlus hasn’t teased this device outside of China in any capacity. OnePlus has a long history of teasing new devices weeks if not months ahead of launch, and international social media from the company has thus far been silent on the matter. That alone suggests that OnePlus doesn’t have any imminent plans to launch this device outside of China, but it doesn’t rule anything out.
The United States is the place where a OnePlus 13T is especially questionable. Due to the ongoing tariff situation, the price of the OnePlus 13T would likely need to be much higher than customers are likely willing to pay. We’ve already seen this happen with the OnePlus Watch 3, which jumped from an original price of $329 up to $499. Assuming the OnePlus 13T would cost around $600-700 (OnePlus 13 costs $900), it’s hard to imagine seeing this device cost less than $1,000 with tariffs in mind (assuming the smartphone exclusion does indeed come to an end).
But only time will tell. The tariff situation is constantly evolving, and OnePlus could be planning a later international release amid that uncertainty.
