One of the things we loved about the Moto Edge 2024 was its display, and the Moto Edge 2025 takes it up a notch. The screen size has slightly increased to 6.7 inches (up from 6.6 inches last year). It’s still a pOLED panel but now boasts 4,500 nits of peak brightness, making it easily visible outdoors and one of the brightest displays you can get in this price range.

Motorola has also increased the screen resolution to 1220 x 2712 pixels, giving it a sharper 444 PPI pixel density. The only slight downgrade from last year is in the refresh rate: while the Edge 2024 offered up to 144Hz, the Edge 2025 is capped at 120Hz, though it should still feel fast and smooth.

The front camera has also been upgraded to a 50MP sensor that now supports 4K video recording at 30fps and features PDAF for sharper selfies and clearer video calls.

This chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, although there’s no SD card slot, so you’ll need to rely on cloud storage if you need additional space.
