Watch Samsung Unveil The Brand New Galaxy S25 Series Here!

Galaxy Unpacked is taking place today, and we’ll be there live in San Jose to see what Samsung has in store for us. However, if you’re unable to make it, you can still watch the announcement live, through Samsung’s live stream, which we have embedded here.

Unpacked will start at 10AM PT on Wednesday, January 22. And we expect that the show will last right around an hour. Typically, the runtime is just over an hour and we expect that to remain the case this year.

What products are we expecting from Galaxy Unpacked?

Of course, we’re expecting to see the Galaxy S25 series. That consists of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra. There is talk of a Galaxy S25 Slim, though we don’t expect to see that announced at Unpacked. That could be a later release for Samsung, given the few leaks we’ve seen about it.

The Galaxy S25 will once again start with a 6.2-inch display, keeping up with the “small” phones this year. While the Galaxy S25 Plus will sport a 6.7-inch display and a 6.9-inch display on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. All three will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and will have at least 12GB of RAM. The higher-end Galaxy S25 Ultra will come with 16GB of RAM with either 512GB of storage or 1TB.

Of course, all three phones will get seven years or updates, and come with Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box. Pricing is where we are a bit in the dark right now. Where Samsung did increase the pricing last year on the “Ultra” model, I don’t really expect a price increase this year. But I could be wrong.

Now what else could Samsung be introducing at Unpacked? Well, last year, Samsung did tease the Galaxy Ring which later released in July. However, where Samsung just introduced two new sizes for Galaxy Ring, I don’t believe we’ll see a Galaxy Ring 2 at Unpacked. We could, however see teasers for the XR headset and/or the AR glasses.
