Walmart has relisted its Onn 4K Plus streaming device powered by Google TV, with the compelling Chromecast replacement coming in at an enticing $30.
Earlier this year a new streaming device from Walmart leaked through early customer reviews of the product. A website listing for the product showed up later on, but was quickly disabled before its details could be spilled. Now, Walmart has quietly relisted the Onn 4K Plus, revealing its price tag.
The new streaming device will apparently cost just $29.88, roughly $20 less than the Chromecast with Google TV (4K) was priced at before it was discontinued late last year.

That price buys a streaming device with a small footprint that, with a short enough HDMI cable, could easily fill the void left by Chromecast. It could even do a better job, as it ships with 16GB of storage, fixing the biggest pain point of Google’s streamer. Walmart’s listing also shows a “quad-core processor” and support for Wi-Fi 6. There’s also an image showcasing the Google Home Panel, which recently rolled out widely.
Like the Onn 4K Pro that launched last year, the included remote has a prominent “Free TV” button.
The listing also directly confirms that the Onn 4K Plus has 2GB of RAM and supports both Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.

It’s unclear when Walmart will actually launch the Onn 4K Plus, but this listing coming back hints that it’s going to be sooner rather than later. The retailer has a strange process when launching these devices, so it’s entirely possible that your local store already has some of these in stock. If you manage to get your hands on one, get in touch!
