Samsung’s Good Lock brings further functionality to Galaxy devices through optional UI functions. The Good Lock app itself is getting an update, and so are the modules within.
The Good Lock update to version 3.0.10.3 is now becoming available to users on Galaxy devices (via SammyGuru). The update brings basic stability improvements, including a fix for the app crashing on open regularly. Since the app runs in the background for some of the opt-in features, this fix will affect the entire experience.
Beyond the umbrella Good Lock app, Edge Lighting+, Wonderland, and Quickstar are getting feature updates. Edge Lighting+ is a module that expands on notification lighting. When receiving a notification, users can choose what kind of animation displays along the edge of the device. This sort of notification became incredibly popular when Galaxy devices had curved edges. Wonderland and Quickstar are lockscreen customizations and Quick Panel customization modules, respectively.
The following Good Lock updates look to be available:
- Edge Lighting+
- Update to stability during One UI 7 device startup. Fixes unexpected app cluster.
- Wonderland
- Set wallpaper exclusively on lock screen.
- See real-time previews of Wonderland backgrounds while setting wallpapers.
- Auto-adjusts font colors based on chosen wallpaper for better readability.
- Fixed issue where video files were unable to be added.
- Quickstar
- Improve app stability.
The listed Wonderland update is only available in One UI 7. That means the user must be using a Galaxy S25 device or wait until One UI 7 rolls out to more devices in the coming months.
These Good Lock UI updates are available now through the Galaxy Store. They can be found under the Updates tab.
