This Might Be Your Last Shot To Grab A PS5 Before US Prices Jump

Sony’s Days of Play sale has begun, and while there are lots of great discounts on games, Sony is also dropping the price of the PS5 and PS5 Pro to help you save a little money on the console upgrade. Assuming you don’t already have one or both of those consoles.
Days of Play is something that Sony does annually, and it’s one of Sony’s many sales that offer some pretty steep game discounts. The sale started today, May 28, and it ends on June 11 at 11:59pm local time. That gives you just a few weeks to stock up on games if you’re looking to save money while doing so. Or finally upgrade to the PS5 if you have yet to make the leap.
There are discounts on all kinds of other PlayStation-related products as well. For example, both the DualSense Edge and the PlayStation Pulse Explore earbuds have been knocked down in price by $30 on Amazon. So, they’re both currently sitting at $169.
Sony’s Days of Play sale brings the PS5 Black Ops 6 bundle down to $399.99
The big takeaway from this sale is the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundle of the PS5 that Sony is currently offering. It’s down to $399.99, and that’s about $109 less than buying the two separately, Sony says. This deal is also available for both the digital and standard editions of the PS5, and it is the Slim model.
If you’re looking for a little more performance, you can save money on the PS5 Pro right now, too. The PS5 Pro has come down in price to $649.99 instead of $699.99. This is the console’s first real discount. So, it’s probably the best time to pick it up.
Another thing to factor in is the price of PS5 hardware after tariffs. Right now, Sony hasn’t increased the price of the PS5 hardware in the US. However, it has admitted to the fact that it’s exploring that option. In other words, a few months from now, it might cost significantly more to get a PS5.
