The Google Pixel 9a has now officially launched in 32 countries across the globe – making this the most widely available A-series phone ever.
Following on from the expanded availability of the Pixel 9 series, the Pixel 9a is no longer limited to a small pool of global regions. Last year, the Pixel 8a was sold through various online retail channels in 23 nations across the globe according to Google’s official support pages. However, some areas have since gained the ability to purchase the device post-launch.
The Google Store is still not open in all regions, so you may need to utilize local retailers and carriers to get the Pixel 9a in your specific country. Certain color variants may also be unavailable or limited to specific storage options for any of the following nations – sadly, Puerto Rico does not encompass the United States:
Google did not confirm whether more countries would get access to the Pixel 9a. You may be able to import or utilize unofficial channels if you desire the new mid-ranger with many options to do so via third-party retailers and stores to do so.
Sadly, if you use this route to obtain a device; this does mean that official support will be limited to non-existent if you have an issue or warranty claim. The Pixel 9a comes with a Tensor G4 processor, 8GB RAM, 128 or 256GB storage, a 5,100mAh battery, dual 48MP and 13MP rear camera system, plus ships with Android 15 pre-installed.
Pre-orders are not yet available, with the device expected in April.
