Three weeks ago, Boox announced two new E Ink tablets, the Go 7 and the Go Color 7 Gen II, where the former is a black and white device packing a Carta 1300 display, and the latter is a color device that takes advantage of a Kaleido 3 screen. Of course, Boox offers its own website and store, where both devices went on sale on May 7th, and the big news today is that both of these devices have arrived on Amazon, ensuring easy ordering and speedy delivery through a trusted and very popular storefront. Best of all, the black and white Go 7 is already for sale; you could have it in your hands as early as tomorrow.

The Boox Go 7 is the latest black and white e-reader from the company, sporting a 7-inch Carta 1300 screen packing stylus support and 4GB of RAM, on a device running Android 13 that can easily access all of your favorite Android apps, like Kindle, Kobo, Nook, or any other number of e-reading apps. The Boox Go 7 is the follow-up to the company’s Go 6, and at an inch bigger, it should give Amazon’s Paperwhite a run for its money.

Yes, Boox offers its own US store, and yes, it is easy enough to order from, but at the end of the day, more people are familiar with using Amazon for purchasing their electronics, especially E Ink e-readers (Amazon is the home of the Kindle after all), and Boox has been taking advantage of this fact for a while with devices like the Palma and Palma 2. This is why it’s exciting to see the Go 7 and the Go Color 7 Gen II land on Amazon’s storefront (via Good E-Reader). It just became that much easier to purchase a Go 7.

While Boox devices are a big part of our e-reader coverage here at AP, the company’s return policy isn’t all that great, and shipping times can take a week, which can be why many prefer ordering through Amazon when it offers a better return policy and faster shipping times.

While both the new Go 7 and the Go Color 7 Gen II are now listed on Amazon, only the Go 7 is currently available for purchase, but Amazon does show it can be in your hands as early as tomorrow, all at the discounted price currently listed on Boox’s website, $249, which is a pretty good price for one of the few 7-inch Carta 1300 devices out there (which matters if you require the best contrast and page turn times in your e-readers). Sadly, the Go Color 7 Gen II is listed as unavailable for now on Amazon, though that will likely change soon enough, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re looking to pick up Boox’s latest color e-reader, or just hop on over to the Boox website and pick one up for $250.

We are hopeful the Go 7 turns out better than the Go 6, which suffered from a lack of RAM at 2 GB. Thankfully, Boox has seemingly rectified this issue with the Go 7 and its 4GB of RAM, which could easily make it one of our preferred Boox devices, especially when it offers a screen that works with styluses.
