The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Is No Secret After This Massive Leak

Right now, the tech world has its ears turned to the Galaxy S25 Edge. However, we can’t forget about the other intriguing device of the year, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. This is set to be Samsung’s affordable foldable phone, going up against the likes of Motorola and Nubia. Well, while we’ve speculated about what this device would look like, Sammy Guru just shared some 5K renders and a video of this phone. This is the biggest leak of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE so far.

Information about this phone is a bit scarce, but we know that we’ll hear more about it in the coming months. For now, we know that it will be priced significantly lower than the Galaxy Z Flip 7 proper. With Motorola set to raise the price on its upcoming foldable, this could be a chance for Samsung to take this segment of the market by storm.

Specs are one thing, but it’s something else entirely to see actual renders of a device. Sammy Guru collaborated with OnLeaks to bring these renders to the forefront. Looking at the images, we see that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will retain the 3.4-inch front display we saw with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. It’s a folder-shaped cutout that stops at the cameras.

According to the report, the FE variant will pretty much have the same dimensions as the Galaxy Z Flip 6, but it will be slightly thicker (7.4mm vs. 6.9mm). We’re not sure why that will be.

As for everything else, you’re pretty much looking at a carbon copy of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and its predecessor. We shouldn’t be surprised, as Samsung hasn’t been innovating on its designs like it used to. Also, the FE versions of its phones always mimic the designs of its more premium siblings. However, rumor has it that Samsung will bring a full-view cover display with the Galaxy Z Flip 7. This means that the display could stretch to encompass the cameras, much like the Motorola Razr foldables.

In the images, we see the phone in a mint green color, which looks rather nice. We don’t know what other colors this phone will come in when it launches in. Hopefully, Samsung doesn’t deliver a slew of boring colors like Apple did with the iPhone 16e.
