The Galaxy S25 Pre-Order Deals Are Almost Gone For Good

Samsung is offering the Galaxy S25 for pre-order for a couple more days, but that means when it goes public, the insane deals we’ve been seeing will also be gone.

The Galaxy S25 has been a controversial release from Samsung. It is a great device that culminates everything Samsung has learned in developing strong Android devices over the past years, but it just isn’t nearly as physically exciting. Still, Galaxy AI in One UI 7 has been more than welcome as it brings new AI features and some needed productivity changes throughout the phones.

The S25 series also carries the new Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and more RAM than the S24 series had. That gives the phones a little more breathing room in terms of AI processing, which Samsung is heavily relying on.

Galaxy S25 Ultra as low as $399

During the pre-order phase that started at Galaxy Unpacked, there have been some ridiculous deals that honestly don’t make a lot of sense. For instance, with a trade-in, you can get the 512GB Galaxy S25 Ultra for as low as $399. That offer includes a $350 credit that can be used to redeem a free pair of Galaxy Buds Pro 3 or even work towards a cheap Galaxy Watch 7 or Ultra.

During the pre-order phase, trade-ins are significantly boosted over what Samsung generally offers. What Samsung usually offers during the off-season is negligible, and you shouldn’t trade your old device in during those times. During pre-order, though, the prices are fair, and it means a lot can be shaved off the Galaxy S25 price.

Samsung is still offering $900 back for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Z Fold 5, and Z Fold 6. Trading in a Z Fold 6 isn’t worth it, but the Z Fold 5 could make for a good trade-in to the Ultra. Samsung never offered that much last year. As a bonus, Samsung is still offering 9to5Google readers an extra $50 credit with our links.

How to get the Galaxy S25 Ultra for $399

  2. Choose a storage model.
  3. Select your trade-in device.
  4. Choose Galaxy Buds 3 Pro under Start building healthy habits with Galaxy.
    • Note: These will be free if you choose up to the 512GB version of the S25 Ultra.

Samsung plans on ending these deals on February 7, when the Galaxy S25 lineup officially hits store shelves. At that point, there’s no telling what sort of deals Sasmung will run, if any. Historically, the company bumps the price back up and will lower trade-in values. Samsung immediately dropped the free storage upgrade offer when the S24 launched. In reality, it could be months before Samsung runs another campaign, or they could run one next week; there’s no telling.
