Samsung is rolling out another new One UI 7 beta update for its 2024 Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 foldables, with this latest update delivering a new shortcut for accessing Gemini among other improvements.
Spotted by SammyGuru and others, One UI 7 Beta 3 for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 is now available. This comes just about a week after Beta 2’s release, and less than a month after the initial beta release.
What’s new?
The full changelog isn’t very long, but there are, of course, a bunch of bug fixes. There are also some new features such as call recording summaries, the arrival of Audio Eraser, natural language search in settings, and more. One of the more notable additions is the ability to change your default assistant – the one accessed by long-pressing the power/side button – from Bixby to Google Gemini.
The update weighs in at just over 1GB and also brings the April 2025 security patch, making it one of Samsung’s first updates with that new patch. This is likely one of the last beta releases for Fold 6 and Flip 6, as Samsung is set to start the rollout on April 7 in Korea and April 10 in the US.
