Samsung’s Latest Odyssey Gaming Monitors Are Up For Pre-Order

Summary: Samsung has just made its 2025 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup available for pre-order. The new lineup includes new models of the Odyssey OLED G8 and the Odyssey G9, as well as the long-awaited Odyssey 3D. All three monitors come with a pre-order bonus.

Samsung Odyssey gaming monitors from the company’s 2025 lineup are now up for pre-order, including the Odyssey 3D, as well as the new Odyssey G9 and the new Odyssey OLED G8. With the exception of the Odyssey 3D, which was announced at CES 2024, Samsung initially announced these monitors earlier this year and is finally making them available. More than that, this is the first time Samsung has actually announced pricing for any of them.

The least expensive of the trio is, somewhat surprisingly, the new model of Samsung’s now iconic 49-inch ultrawide. The Odyssey G91F retails for $999.99, making it the least expensive Odyssey G9 model that Samsung has ever launched. That lower pricing does come with a few drawbacks. For instance, it has a slower refresh rate of 144Hz compared to the normal 240Hz. That being said, 144Hz is still pretty fast for most gamers, and at $999.99, the Odyssey G9 should be a compelling option.

The Odyssey OLED G81SF, meanwhile, will retail for $1,299.99. This is a 27-inch OLED monitor and is the “industry’s first” 27-inch monitor with a 4K OLED panel, Samsung says. Hence, the higher price tag. The last monitor, the Odyssey 3D, retails for a whopping $1,999.99. If you prefer smaller monitors, have a big budget, and want a gaming monitor with some unique tricks, this fits the bill.

Pre-order a 2025 Samsung Odyssey monitor and get a $300 credit

Aside from having a shiny new monitor to play games on, there’s another reason to consider pre-ordering one of these new monitors from Samsung. And that reason is a $300 credit. Anyone who pre-orders “while supplies last” can get a $300 Samsung credit. This can’t be spent on the price of the monitor, so keep that in mind. Instead, you’re getting a credit that you can spend on other items. So, say you also need a new soundbar or something like that for your setup.

You could use the credit on that. Samsung says this is sent out within 35 days of the pre-order. It also expires on May 26, so you’ll need to use it pretty quickly if you don’t want to lose it.

The Odyssey 3D’s pre-order bonus is a tad different

While the Odyssey OLED G8 and the Odyssey G9 come with a $300 Samsung credit if you pre-order, the Odyssey 3D comes with a slightly different bonus. Instead of a $300 credit, you get a $200 credit. You also get a JBL Quantum One gaming headset for free along with it. That’s not a bad deal, considering the headset itself is worth over $200 in value. Whichever monitor you go with, you get a little something extra.
