Samsung’s next foldable phones are just around the corner, and although the brand has yet to announce anything official, we’re already starting to see huge leaks, giving us early looks at the Galaxy Z Fold 7. From what we know, the phone is expected to be very thin, and there could even be an Ultra version too.

While things look promising, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 won’t be bringing huge upgrades to all its specifications. With that said, we’re now getting even more opportunities to see the phone early, thanks to a leaked promotional tool and images found on a case manufacturer’s website. For the most part, the phone looks exactly like what we’ve seen in the past, sporting a thin profile and huge camera bump.

Samsung’s giving customers what they want, but is it enough?

The big question is whether this phone will be enough to stop customers and fans from complaining. When it comes to the in-store promotional advert, we can see that it’s a pretty large piece, giving us a really close look at all the details of the phone. For the most part, things look pretty similar to the previous model, with the exception that it’s noticeably thinner.

Of course, that image doesn’t show off the rear or the profile of the phone. We get to take a closer look at these parts thanks to a leaked image from case maker Thinborne’s website, which was shared on Reddit. From what we can see, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is going to have a huge camera bump, which is something that can’t be helped if the brand is trying to go slim but still maintain some camera performance.

While we’d love to see a slim and light phone without huge camera bumps, it appears that we might be hitting a wall here when it comes to what’s possible. With that said, camera bumps are okay, so long as you’re getting excellent performance from the sensors. However, Samsung has been known to have fallen behind in this area with its latest releases, so it will be interesting to see what it comes up with.

If these images are accurate, Thinborne also gives us an early look at the Galaxy Z Flip 7 as well. For the most part, not a lot to get excited about. We know that we’ll see some big improvements over the previous model in some areas, but will it all be enough so that Samsung can be crowned the king of foldables for 2025? Of course, even if the Z Fold 7 falls flat, at least the brand will have something else waiting in the wings this year.
