It’s hard to beat Samsung’s One UI when it comes to the level of customizability. However, if that’s not enough for you, you can get to a higher level using the company’s Google Lock modules. Good Lock has something for everyone, from UI-related features to advanced functionalities that allow users to do more than what One UI offers.

Now, Samsung recently upgraded one of its most popular Good Lock modules to take the customizability of the Galaxy phones to a whole new level. The Good Lock module received two noteworthy new features is One Hand Operation+, though you might not be able to access both if your Galaxy phone isn’t running One UI 8.

One Hand Operation+ has been updated with two new features

As the name suggests, this is designed to make it easier for you to control your Galaxy handset with one hand. It lets you add gesture handles to the left and right sides of the screens, allowing you to set up regions on either side of your device to swipe in, diagonal up, or diagonal down to perform multiple actions easily with one hand.

However, before the update, the functionality of One Hand Operation+ was limited in the sense that you had only one handle to the left and one to the right. As spotted by Android Authority, One Hand Operation+ no longer has this limitation, as you can now add multiple handles on each side of the screen. That essentially means you can now assign more functions to different areas of the screen, albeit initially, you might have a hard time remembering where everything is.

The ability to add more handles is working on both One UI 6 and 7. However, you’ll need One UI 8 in order to get access to a new toggle called “System back gesture,” which is available on the Advanced settings page of the One Hand Operation+ module.

The way the feature works is pretty simple. Once you enable the toggle, you once again get the opportunity to use the system back gesture. Previously, it wasn’t possible to use the system back gesture on the side where the handle was enabled. This is no longer the case, as allowing the toggle now lets you use the system back gesture outside the handle area on your screen.

However, it’s worth noting that this powerful tool doesn’t come preinstalled on your Galaxy phones. If you care about productivity, Good Lock is one of the apps you should install on your Samsung phone.
