Samsung Seemingly Preps Another One UI 7 Beta, This Time For Galaxy Z Fold 6 And Flip 6

One UI 7 still feels so far away for Galaxy users who aren’t using the newest flagship from Samsung. Before One UI 7 gets a full launch for anything but the Galaxy S25, it looks like Samsung is preparing to release yet another One UI 7 beta, this time for the Galaxy ZZ Fold 6 and Flip 6.

One UI 7 has been available in a couple of phases for several devices. It is, of course, available in full on the Galaxy S25 series, but it comes as a beta-only variant on the Galaxy S24. That beta has since closed its doors and is only available to those who managed to sign up. It’s been a waiting game since then, with Samsung not quick to shift into full gear.

Whether or not it means that Samsung is getting closer to a One UI 7 launch for older devices, it seems that the company is moving in on releasing yet another beta. This time, it’ll seemingly be One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. This is according to a couple of posts from Tarun Vats on Twitter/X.

The post claims to note two new builds that have appeared in Samsung’s test servers. These versions appear in both Europe and India, and they cover both the Fold 6 and Flip 6. If these versions were to be believed, it would mean that Samsung is gearing up to launch One UI 7 in a beta test for the two foldables.

In another post, it also looks like Samsung has developed the official forum landing pages for Galaxy Z Flip and Fold 6 devices with the One UI 7 beta. These forums are offered to the community for users to express found issues and bugs in the beta. Samsung then takes these findings and works on fixes or improvements before the OS is fully launched.

It’s worth noting that this means, in essence, Samsung is starting from scratch with the Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. These forums showcase that it takes time to develop a beta, and even if the Galaxy S24 is well into its fifth beta release, Galaxy foldables might need to wait just as long.

It could be months until we see One UI 7 for the Z Fold 6 or Flip 6 in full.
