While most users are just waiting for the full version of One UI 7 to be released, Samsung has a couple of things to iron out. The One UI 7 Beta 4 update is now rolling out to Galaxy S24 devices in certain regions. Hopefully, this is the last pre-release version.
One UI 7 brings a lot to the table, but the only full release we’re able to get our hands on is on the Galaxy S25. On that phone, new AI features and quality-of-life tweaks are rampant throughout the phone. One UI 7 has been widely considered a great update to the Galaxy series.
Though it isn’t available for any other device just yet, the Galaxy S24 now has access to the One UI 7 Beta 4 update in South Korea (via SamMobile). The beta program is live in plenty of other regions, so the update should start making its way to Europe and the US shortly. The update comes in a 1.4GB package, which isn’t all that big.
Samsung details some of the more exciting additions in the changelog. It notes a new AI Filter in the camera and Samsung’s compatibility push with LOG video format. LOG was announced for the Galaxy S25. It was expected that it would come to previous Galaxy devices, so this is reassuring to see.
One UI 7 Beta 4 also brings a lot of fixes. Those include quick panel UI errors, alarm errors, and a stuttering fingerprint reader. As it’s still a beta, there will likely be more things to fix when the next update comes around. We’re just hoping that the next update for the Galaxy S24 is One UI 7 in full.
Samsung still hasn’t made it clear when One UI 7 will be fully released. It was initially expected rather soon after the Galaxy S25’s debut, but that has come and gone. This update comes as it was previously discovered that Samsung did have at least one more beta in the tank, but it’s unclear if there are more to come.
