Samsung Resumes One UI 7 Rollout For Galaxy S24 Series After Delay

After a last-minute delay, Samsung is now restarting the rollout of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 series with an updated build.

Earlier this month Samsung finally started rolling out its long-awaited One UI 7 update – based on Android 15 – to Galaxy users after a six-month wait. But the update was quickly taken off the air due to a problem which Samsung never specified, as the company only said the delay was to “ensure the best possible experience.”

Whatever the cause, Samsung has now restarted the One UI 7 rollout.

Galaxy S24 users can expect One UI 7 to reach their devices in the next few days if they hadn’t already installed it. The update, as noted by SamMobile and SammyGuru, is now rolling out in Korea and should expand to other countries very soon. Ice Universe adds that this is a new build – meaning you’ll get this update even if you’ve already installed One UI 7 previously – which is the “full” version that adds a few features that were missing in the previous build such as a charging animation and music player support in the Now Bar.

There’s no word just yet on when the rollout will resume for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, but it stands to reason those devices will get it fairly soon. Beyond that, Samsung is also likely to continue the rollout to older devices starting in May, at least according to a schedule the company posted earlier this week.
