Samsung Resumes One UI 7 Rollout For Foldables

Following a delay that hit quickly after the initial rollout, Samsung has resumed its One UI 7 rollout for foldables including Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6.

Despite not getting the beta until February, Samsung gave Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 owners the chance to get in early on the One UI 7 stable rollout. Both devices started getting the update on the same day as Galaxy S24 series devices. However, the rollout was paused at the same time too due to reasons that Samsung never formally disclosed.

Now, the rollout is back on.

As reported by SamMobile and SammyGuru, Samsung is once again rolling out One UI 7 to foldables in Korea right now, and is expected to get things going in other regions very soon. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are both included, as is the Galaxy Z Fold SE.

Samsung’s One UI 7 rollout is expected to run through July 2025 if a recent schedule is to be believed, putting it right up against the rumored debut of One UI 8 on the company’s next-gen foldables.
