Samsung Releases Two New One UI 7 Updates With Bug Fixes, Now Bar Tweaks, LOG On S24

Samsung is rolling out new One UI 7 beta updates to the Galaxy S24 series as well as to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 which deliver fixes, upgrades, and more. Here’s what you need to know.

One UI 7 Beta 5 is now, finally, officially rolling out to users following some prior confusion. This latest update on top of the beta program for the Galaxy S24 series includes various bug fixes for notification history, the Gallery, and various visual issues as well. It weighs in at just under 1GB and has the March 2025 security patch too. One of the tweaks noticed by “That Josh Guy” of SammyGuru was that media playback can now show up as a Live Notification, as was previously available in One UI 7 beta updates on other Galaxy devices.

A new “Sports from Google” option has also been added to the Now Bar, which was hinted at recently.

The biggest news here, as seen in the changelog, is support for LOG video recording on the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. This was added to the Galaxy S24 Ultra in Beta 4 after it first debuted on the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year.

Samsung is also rolling out a second One UI 7 beta update to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, as spotted by Tarun Vats. The changelog consists almost entirely of bug fixes, but the speed at which Samsung is running through this beta program suggests the rollout isn’t too far off.
