As has become a yearly tradition, Samsung is now offering its last-gen flagship phones, the Galaxy S24 series, as a “Certified Re-Newed” device with prices starting at $620.
Samsung’s “Re-Newed” program offers the company’s prior generation Galaxy devices in a refurbished state. Each device is repaired with “genuine parts” by Samsung directly and can include various part replacements and updates. Each device gets a fresh battery and comes with a 1-year warranty backed by Samsung.
It’s a good way to save a few bucks while getting a device free of concerns on who you’re buying it from, but you’re not saving much. Plus, all three devices are limited solely to their black color variants.
Samsung’s pricing on “Re-Newed” Galaxy S24 devices is as follows:
- Galaxy S24: 128GB for $619.99, 256GB for $669.99
- Galaxy S24+: 256GB for $799.99, 512GB for $919.99
- Galaxy S24 Ultra: 256GB for $1,019.99, 512GB for $1,139.99
These are discounts of just over 20% of the original retail price, though keep in mind these are also year-old devices that have already eaten up the first year of their software support. With a 7-year commitment from Samsung, though, this latest batch of “Re-Newed” devices is a better deal than any of the past generations.
Samsung’s “Re-Newed” Galaxy S24 devices are available starting today – fittingly on Earth Day – exclusively through Samsung’s website.
