Samsung Is Reportedly ‘freezing’ Galaxy S25 Pricing As European And Korean Prices Leak

Recent leaks have been suggesting that the Galaxy S25 series may see an increased entry price compared to years before. Contradicting those are two new rumors that suggest the European and Korean prices for the Galaxy S25 series will not increase by much.

Nailing down pricing prior to a lunch is always tricky. Rumors will always suggest a certain trend, and that trend could only be for specific regions, whereas in other areas, the prices may stay the same. The worry with the Galaxy S25 series is that Samsung will raise prices due to increased costs to the manufacturer. That puts the price tag on an expensive phone even higher.

According to a couple of sources, it looks like Samsung is putting cost freezing into practice. Instead of passing that extra cost on to the consumer, Samsung may be eating some of that extra cost and offering the Galaxy S25 to users at a price point similar to that of last year.

In Korea, the Galaxy S25 may start at a price of 1,155,000 won. The Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra will apparently cost 1,353,000 won and 1,698,400 won, respectively (via FnNews). This applies to the 256GB variant, with the 512GB model costing more, but not by much.

In Europe, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are expected to hit the market starting at €909, €1159, and €1459, respectively (via GizmoChina). Again, those prices don’t look much different from those of the previous year.

Again, these Galaxy S25 price rumors come as Samsung is gearing up to launch the phones in the next few days. They could be wildly off or right on the money. This is speculation from individual sources, though it would be nice to see Samsung eating the cost for the year and introducing the next flagship series at a similar price.

If these leaks are to be believed, it also means trade-in deals will be much fairer, and the free storage upgrade we’re expecting will go a long way. It’s also worth signing up for the Galaxy Reserve promo, which gives you a $50 credit and a chance to win $5,000 before the launch.
