Samsung keeps on teasing its upcoming book-style foldable smartphone. Samsung once again used the word ‘Ultra’ with which it managed to create some confusion recently. The company once again showed us a silhouette of the phone, but it didn’t actually mention the device itself in the blog post related to it.
Samsung talks about cameras and AI in the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 teaser
Needless to say, this is a vague teaser, but Samsung teases an AI-enhanced camera setup for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. The company said that today’s “mobile imaging goes beyond just a high-quality lens or advanced sensor — it demands seamless integration of hardware, software and AI.”
Samsung says that a camera is “more than just a tool for capturing images”, while adding that the “Galaxy camera is now part of the intuitive interface that turns what users see into understanding and action.”
The company also added that “the camera will only get smarter”, and that the “Ultra experience is ready to unfold.” This is quite possibly the vaguest teaser that the company released thus far. You can see the video that the company included below.
This teaser video confirms three camera rings for the Galaxy Z Fold 7
The video itself also doesn’t say much, other than it shows us a silhouette of the device, and confirms three camera rings on the back of the device. That is something we already knew, though, as we’ve exclusively revealed the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Samsung recently showed us just how thin the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be. No exact numbers were mentioned, but the thinness of the phone in both folded and unfolded forms has been shown.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been confirmed to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It will use the ‘for Galaxy’ version, the overclocked model. Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 7, along with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, at some point in July. It will likely happen either in early July, or mid-July.
