Samsung Galaxy Users Can Skip CAPTCHAs With This One UI 7 Feature

If you’ve ever found yourself ticking boxes featuring traffic lights or distorted characters to prove that you’re human, you probably know the pain of CAPTCHA verification. The CAPTCHA system has been around for a long time to separate bots from humans. However, if you’ve installed One UI 7 on your Galaxy device, there’s a new feature that lets you bypass CAPTCHA verification when using Samsung’s browser.

A One UI 7 feature lets Samsung Galaxy users skip CAPTCHAs, with some limitations

The feature in question is the “Automatic Verification.” Android Authority notes it is a “Smart anti-tracking” feature that restricts websites from using any user data collected during the authentication process. That’s not all; this One UI 7 feature allows blocking websites from spying on your online activity. Speaking of spying, a report from earlier this year cited a YouTube video claiming that Google’s reCAPTCHA is spyware.

It’s normal to think that the aforementioned feature would work on every website. Sadly, that isn’t the case. Samsung reportedly notes that the CAPTCHA-skipping feature only works on supported websites. However, there’s no mention of which website the feature will work on.

Not to forget, the feature is only usable in the Samsung Internet app. This means you can’t use it when browsing websites on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or other third-party web browser apps. Since “Automatic Verification” is one of the features of One UI 7, it’s not available on any other Android devices.

You can enable the feature quite easily

If you have a Samsung Galaxy device, you can enable the Automatic Verification feature in the Smart anti-tracking settings. Next, you have to find the Privacy option and select Smart anti-tracking. Once selected, you’ll land on a page where you’ll see the toggle to enable the Automatic Verification feature.
