Samsung Galaxy S25 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S25 has been announced alongside its siblings, the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The launch event happened today, and this is basically a smaller variant of the Galaxy S25+. We’ve already covered the initial launch of all three phones, and are here to take a closer look at the Samsung Galaxy S25 specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 specifications are not all that surprising

This smartphone is basically on the same level as the Galaxy S25+ in terms of specs. There are some differences, though, mainly due to the size difference. The phone features a 6.2-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. That panel has an adaptive refresh rate, of up to 120Hz. Its brightness goes up to 2,600, and the display is flat. It’s also worth noting that it’s protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Qualcomm’s flagship chip fuels this phone. In fact, a slightly overclocked version of it does, the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. Samsung once again collaborated with Qualcomm in order to make this happen.

The company utilizes 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM to pair up with that chip. The Galaxy S25 also comes with 128GB or 256GB of storage, depending on your needs. UFS 4.0 flash storage is used, and it’s not expandable.

It has the same battery capacity as its predecessor

A 4,000mAh battery is included in the package, and it supports 25W wired charging. A charger is not included in the package, though. 15W wireless charging is also supported, as is reverse wireless charging.

This phone comes with Android 15 out of the box, and Samsung’s One UI 7 skin on top of it. Samsung promised 7 years of software support for the device. Stereo speakers are also included, as is Bluetooth 5.3. This phone also supports Wi-Fi 7, and has an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The dual SIM setup is also included, as is eSIM support. Facial scanning is also an option, via the front-facing camera.

The camera hardware looks very familiar

Three cameras sit on the back of the Samsung Galaxy S25. A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture, OIS) is backed by a 12-megapixel ultrawide unit (f/2.2 aperture, 120-degree FoV). A 10-megapixel telephoto camera (f/2.4 aperture, OIS, 3x optical zoom, 30x Space Zoom) can also be found on the back. A single 12-megapixel snapper sits on the front (f/2.2 aperture).

The Samsung Galaxy S25 measures 146.9 x 70.5 x 7.2mm, while it weighs 162 grams. The phone comes in Icyblue, Mint, Navy, and Silver Shadow standard colors. There are also some colors exclusive to the Samsung Store. Those colors are Blueblack, Coralred, and Pinkgold.
