Early leaks suggested an April launch with May availability, but those reports were recently dismissed. A new leak from Korean publication Financial News (via Jukanlosreve) now points to a Galaxy Unpacked event on May 13, 2025, where Samsung is expected to fully unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge, including its specs, features, color options, and pricing.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge could launch on May 13
But the US buyers will have to wait

According to the report, the phone will go on sale first in China and Korea on May 23, with other markets, including the US, expected to get the device a week later on May 30. So if you’re outside of Korea or China, you’ll need to wait just a bit longer.
The base 256GB model will reportedly be priced at 1.5 million won (~$1,050 USD). US pricing will likely be slightly higher due to taxes and import adjustments, but the price point suggests the S25 Edge will sit between the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra, as earlier reports indicated.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be Samsung’s thinnest phone ever, measuring just 5.8mm at its thinnest point. It will feature a dual-camera setup on the back, as seen in previous public demos, and like the rest of the S25 lineup, it’s expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is Samsung’s push into the ultra-thin smartphone market, which is expected to heat up later this year when Apple reportedly launches its iPhone 17 Air.
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait much longer for the thinnest Galaxy phone. With the S25 Edge expected to be officially unveiled in just over two weeks, we should expect official confirmation from Samsung within the next few days.
