Samsung Galaxy S24's Latest One UI 7 Beta Is Likely Its Last (For Real This Time)

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before. Samsung is rolling out a new One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series, and it’s reportedly the last one scheduled before the stable rollout.

Samsung has been releasing One UI 7 beta updates for the Galaxy S24 series since December 2024, with this latest beta, the sixth, now rolling out.

One UI 7 Beta 6 for Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra has a relatively brief changelog that includes the ability to launch your digital assistant (aka Gemini) via the side button, call recording summaries, and other new features and bug fixes.

The full changelog follows:

Summarize the web page
Edit video sounds as you like
Natural language-based search within settings
Bugs that have been fixed
Improved battery animation at the top
Fix Ul errors in media controller real-time playback notification
Fix some widget overlap
Fix error that appear to be still running after the routine ends

The changelog is basically identical to the latest beta for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 which makes sense as Samsung is closing in on the stable rollout for all five of these devices.

SamMobile points out that this update is now available in Korea, Germany, and India, and it should be available in other regions soon if it isn’t already. Tarun Vats claims that this is the last beta for the Galaxy S24 series, something the same leaker claimed two weeks ago. So… take that claim with a grain of salt. That said, the timing makes sense, as Samsung’s April 7 stable release date is under two weeks away.
