Samsung Galaxy A56, A36 & A26 SoCs Revealed Ahead Of Launch

Samsung is preparing to launch three new Galaxy A series devices – the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 – at the moment. Ahead of the launch, Samsung’s website in Chile accidentally confirmed the existence of all three smartphones recently. We’ve already seen a few renders of the upcoming Galaxy A series models. Now, a tipster on X has revealed the details regarding the SoCs of the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and A26.

Galaxy A26, A36, and A56 will be budget/mid-range phones, as suggested by their leaked SoC details

According to Abhishek Yadav, a tipster who has a reliable record in the past, the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 will be budget and mid-range smartphones. The leaker suggests that the company’s in-house Exynos 1580 SoC will power the Galaxy A56, in contrast to the Exynos 1480 chip found on its predecessor. Samsung will power the Galaxy A36 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. Its predecessor, the Galaxy A35, utilizes an Exynos 1380 processor.

As for the Galaxy A26, it will be a budget offering packing an Exynos 1380 processor, suggests the source. To compare, the company launched the predecessor, the Galaxy A25 5G, with the Exynos 1280 SoC.

Another tipster has leaked camera details of the new Galaxy A series phones

A lesser-known tipster on X who goes by the name AN Leaks has also corroborated Abhishek Yadav’s post by suggesting the same chipsets for the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 models. The leaker also claims that the Galaxy A56 will have a triple 50MP+12MP+5MP primary camera module.

The Galaxy A36 could have a Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and offer a 50MP main camera, aided by an 8MP secondary snapper and a 5MP third lens. As for the Galaxy A26, the tipster claims it will have a 2MP third lens, while the rest of the two cameras will be the same as the Galaxy A36.

It’s worth mentioning that there’s no official word from Samsung regarding these phones at the moment, so we advise our readers to treat the above information with a grain of salt for now. If we believe the reports, Samsung could launch the new Galaxy A phones in the first week of March.
