The Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26 just launched and have been listed on the company’s website at some really good prices. The two phones come in as ultra-affordable options while offering some reliable specs for everyday. The company is also offering trade-in deals for the Galaxy A36 and A26, which bring the phone down in price even further.
The Galaxy A36 comes in at $399 while the Galaxy A26 sits at $299. They aren’t Samsung’s most expensive smartphones, but they consistently act as reliable and good devices to have on hand without spending thousands. The performance to price ratio is surprisingly good these days, and these devices showcase that.
Internally, both devices house a 5,000mAh battery with a 6.7-inch 120Hz display. The Galaxy A36 has a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, and a 5MP telephoto camera. The Galaxy A26, on the other hand, brings a 50MP mains sensor, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera.
Both phones will run One UI 7 out of the box and have 6 years of Android upgrades in the pipeline.
Right now, Samsung is offering a few deals on the Galaxy A36 and A26 when a phone is traded in. Without a trade-in, these sit at full price as mentioned. With a traded device, though, users can get up to $150 instant credit. That means the A36 can get as low as $250, which is a good deal.
It’s worth mentioning that Samsung’s trade-in estimates favor older flagships like the Galaxy S21 or the Z Fold 2. Those devices don’t sell for as much anymore, and if you have one lying around, weigh out the potential gain from selling versus trading it in. Specifically with the Galaxy A36, offers on older Galaxy S20+ and the previous generation Galaxy A35 comes out to $150, which is a great deal. It seems like trades for the Galaxy A36 are a better value, especially if you’re upgrading from the previous generation.
The Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26 are both on sale now via Samsung’s website.
