Samsung has finally set a start date for its One UI 7 rollout and confirmed a few devices to get support earlier this week. Now, Samsung is adding to that list of Galaxy devices with confirmation that Galaxy S22, S21, and several other Galaxy devices will be getting One UI 7 in the coming weeks.
Earlier this week, Samsung announced that One UI 7 – based on Android 15 – would finally start rolling out on April 7. The update is roughly six months late and launched on the Galaxy S25 and some other devices earlier this year as well. In that announcement, Samsung also confirmed a handful of Galaxy devices set to get One UI 7 including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 series, and the two most recent generations of tablets and foldables.
Now, Samsung is expanding on the list of Galaxy devices confirmed to get One UI 7.
In a post published to its Singapore Newsroom (via SammyGuru), Samsung has confirmed a much bigger list of Galaxy devices getting One UI 7. These include the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series, as well as additional foldables and tablets.
The new additions are as follows:
- Galaxy S22
- Galaxy S22+
- Galaxy S22 Ultra
- Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy S21
- Galaxy S21+
- Galaxy S21 Ultra
- Galaxy Z Fold 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
- Galaxy Tab S9 FE
- Galaxy Tab S8
- Galaxy Tab S8+
- Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
- Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
Notably, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite mentioned here is likely the 2024 revision and not referring to prior iterations.
So far, Samsung has confirmed 34 devices for its One UI 7 rollout, with many more surely to come in the near future. The rollout begins on April 7 – varying both by country and the device itself – and we’ll likely get more information as that takes place.
