Google’s new Pixel 9a still doesn’t have Qi2, just like the flagship models that released last year, but the new mid-range device is picking up a huge selection of cases and accessories from Spigen’s “MagFit” lineup that, like Google’s phone, deliver a premium experience without the premium price tag.
The Pixel 9a introduces a brand new design to Google’s lineup, ditching the iconic camera bar we’ve come to know over the past few years. Paired with the plastic build, you might either want to cover things up a bit, or just improve the aesthetic, and that’s one place where Spigen’s accessories can help out.
As mentioned, the Pixel 9a still lacks support for Qi2 natively, a technology that allows for smartphones to have built-in magnets that work with accessories, including Apple’s MagSafe lineup. Spigen’s “MagFit” also works with this standard, and the tech is found throughout the company’s Pixel 9a lineup. The Rugged Armor MagFit delivers an iconic Spigen design with a sleek black design, grippy edges, and carbon fiber accents, but with concealed magnets to allow the use of MagSafe or Qi2 chargers, wallet accessories, and more. It doesn’t sacrifice on protection either, with foam built into the case for thin, but strong impact protection. Meanwhile, Ultra Hybrid MagFit offers a transparent case that showcases the Pixel 9a’s design – perfect for the gorgeous “Iris” or “Peony” colors – while still protecting the device and adding grip. Spigen has also used a special resin to prevent yellowing.

The magnets in those cases are only useful, though, if you have the right accessories, and that’s where the rest of the Spigen “MagFit” lineup comes into play.
There’s a host of options available, including phone grips that help you hang on to the phone without requiring messy adhesive add-ons. Some of these grips, like the OM102, can even double as a kickstand – or even a bottle opener. There are also MagFit wallets, like the Ultra Hybrid Mag Wallet, to help you carry the essentials without the bulk, and various other types of mounts. One of those is Spigen’s Cryo Max Car Mount, a mount that uses magnets to hold the phone while also ensuring full-speed wireless charging and using fans to keep the device as cool as possible.
