YouTube has announced that the YouTube TV streaming service will no longer carry Paramount channels. You will no longer have access to popular Paramount channels like CBS and CBS Sports through YouTube TV after February 13. YouTube and Paramount have failed to reach a contract renewal deal to continue carrying the latter’s channels on the YouTube TV streaming service.

YouTube TV will no longer let you watch content from channels like CBS, CBS Sports Network, and Nickelodeon. In addition, YouTube’s paid streaming service will no longer offer content from other Paramount channels including BET, BET Her, Comedy Central, MTV, MTV Classic, TV Land, Paramount Network, CMT, Comet TV, Dabl, MyNetwork TV, Nick Jr., Nick Toons, Pop, Smithsonian Channel, Start TV, Teen Nick, Tr3s: MTV, Musica y Mas, and VH1.

In addition to the aforementioned channels, YouTube TV users will also lose access to several add-ons, such as Paramount+ with Showtime and BET+. This also means that subscribers will not be able to access any previous titles from these Paramount channels or add-on services.

“With YouTube TV, our goal is to offer you the content you love, delivered the way you want it,” YouTube TV stated in an email. “To make this happen, we enter into agreements with network partners to make their content available on YouTube TV. As such, we’ve been negotiating with Paramount to reach a fair agreement that allows us to keep their channels, including CBS, on YouTube TV without compromising the value of our service. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we’ve been unable to reach an agreement”, YouTube added further.

Paramount said that YouTube is attempting to pressure it to agree to unfavorable and one-sided terms. It is proposing a “comprehensive deal” to YouTube to keep its channels on the service. Paramount will continue its efforts to reach a new agreement with YouTube TV. Unless YouTube and Paramount can reach a new deal in the next few hours, the latter’s content will be unavailable on the former’s TV service after February 13.
