Oppo Find X8 Mini Reportedly Coming In March With 6.3-Inch Display, Three 50MP Cameras

As rumors swirl around smaller phones coming from Oppo and OnePlus, new details regarding the Find X8 Mini are surfacing, including a potential release date.

The Oppo Find X8 series launched last year with new designs and intriguing cameras, with the Find X8 Pro also delivering a dedicated shutter button similar to “Camera Control” on the latest iPhone. They’re excellent devices, but they’re also rather large.

It’s been rumored for a while that a “Mini” would be joining the Oppo Find X8 lineup, and leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo is now providing a bit of additional context. The device will have a 6.3-inch 2640×1216 LTPO display – previously rumored at 6.31-inches – with an optical fingerprint sensor underneath. There would also be an “ultra-thin” periscope telephoto lens attached to a 50MP camera. Three 50MP sensors will be used in total, the other two being for wide and ultrawide shots.

Other tidbits shared include a “three-stage” button – the Alert Slider – and support for wireless charging.

DCS claims the device will be launching in March. OnePlus is also expected to launch a version of this device, possibly to be released as the “OnePlus 13T.” That may end up launching as soon as April, but it may have only two rear cameras.
