OPPO Find N5 Will Get A Wired Charging Boost Too

The OPPO Find N5 will get a wired charging boost too, as per the latest certification. The phone appeared over at the 3C certification in China. That listing confirmed its wired charging.

The OPPO Find N5 will offer a wired charging boost too, it’ll be faster than on the Find N3

The device will support 80W wired charging, compared to its predecessor’s 67W wired charging. The device appeared under the OPPO PKH120 model number. That was previously believed to be the OPPO Find X8 Mini, but it seems to be the Find N5.

With that being said, OPPO’s executive confirmed yesterday that the device will also support 50W wireless charging. The Find N3 did not offer wireless charging at all, so this is a huge improvement.

OPPO actually managed to shrink down the charging coil in order to keep the phone extremely thin. That device will also become the world’s thinnest foldable, as per OPPO’s CEO. The company already teased its thinness, several times.

This phone will trump the HONOR Magic V3 to become the thinnest foldable around

It will be thinner than the HONOR Magic V3, which currently holds the title of the world’s thinnest book-style foldable. For comparison’s sake, that phone measures 4.35mm when unfolded, and 9.2mm when folded. That goes for its thinnest variant.

The OnePlus Open 2 could actually be the rebranded OPPO Find N5, as the same was the case with the OnePlus Open and OPPO Find N3. We also know when will this handset arrive.

The OPPO Find N5 has been confirmed to launch in February. That goes for both Chinese and global variants of the device. We still don’t know the exact date, but at least the launch month has been confirmed.

It’s possible that OPPO is aiming to launch the device at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, it makes sense. We’ll have to wait and see, though. This does look like one of the most exciting foldable phones of 2025, and we’re still at the very beginning of the year.
