OPPO Find N5 Specifications

The OPPO Find N5 was announced by the company today. We’ve already covered the launch of the OPPO Find N5 itself, and are here to take a closer look at its specifications.

This phone is a true wonder when it comes to design. It’s immensely thin, but it also comes with a set of really powerful specifications. OPPO improved the device in a number of ways compared to the OPPO Find N3.

OPPO opted to utilize the 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor from Qualcomm here. So, a flagship chip is used, basically. That chip is combined with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM here, and UFS 4.0 flash storage.

Android 15 comes pre-installed on the phone, along with OPPO’s ColorOS 15.0.1 skin. A 5,600mAh battery sits on the inside. That is a major improvement compared to the OPPO Find N5, as that device shipped with a 4,805mAh unit.

80W wired and 50W wireless charging is on offer

OPPO also improved the charging here. Wired charging (SUPERVOOC) has received a boost from 67W to 80W, while the phone supports 50W wireless charging (AIRVOOC). Its predecessor did not offer wireless charging at all.

There is an 8.12-inch main display used here. It’s an OLED LTPO display with an adaptive refresh rate (1-120Hz). It offers a resolution of 2248 x 2480 (9.9:9 aspect ratio), and it has a peak brightness of 2,100 nits. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision are both supported here.

The cover display is just as impressive as the main one

A 6.62-inch cover display is also used here. That is also an OLED LTPO panel with an adaptive refresh rate (1-120Hz). It offers a resolution of 2616 x 1140, which is an aspect ratio of 20.7:9. The peak brightness here is 2,450 nits, while HDR10+ and Dolby Vision are supported. Nanocrystal Glass protects this display.

A side-facing fingerprint scanner is also a part of the package, as are stereo speakers. The phone also offers four microphones and supports facial scanning via selfie cameras. Aerospace-grade fiber is used on the back of the phone.

Now, in terms of cameras. A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s LYT-700 sensor, 1/1.56-inch sensor size, OIS, f/1.89 aperture 21mm lens) is backed by a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (1/2.75-inch sensor size, OIS, f/2.7 aperture 70mm lens, macro).

The third camera on the back is the least impressive one here, an 8-megapixel ultrawide unit (f/2.2 aperture, 116-degree FoV, 15mm lens). You’ll find the same selfie camera on both the main and cover displays. OPPO used an 8-megapixel unit (f/2.4 aperture 21mm lens).

The OPPO Find N5 measures 160.87 x 145.58 x 4.21mm when unfolded. When folded, it measures 160.87 x 74.42 x 8.93mm. The phone weighs 229 grams and comes in Cosmic Black and Misty White colors to global markets.
