Oppo is preparing to launch more devices in the Find X8 series including the smaller and thinner Find X8s as well as its “Ultra” device.
The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro launched last year with solid cameras and excellent hardware, but they only marked the start of the series. Three more devices are coming soon, including the Oppo Find X8 Ultra. This camera-focused device has a similar design and, in a teaser video, has five different camera lenses on the back.
The Find X8s and Find X8s+ seem a bit more interesting, though. These are Oppo’s answer to the trend of super-slim devices, it seems, with the Find X8s in particular also being the “Mini” that was rumored a while back. The smaller size is obvious in photos of someone holding the phone (via GSMArena), but Oppo has yet to confirm the size (which is rumored to include a display around 6.3-inches). Find X8s+, meanwhile, is another thinner device, but with a bigger display.
Perhaps the most notable thing about these devices is that they forgo the Alert Slider, replacing it with a single button along the side of the device. OnePlus recently announced it would be killing off that beloved feature as well, so this seems to be our first look at the change.

All three of these devices are set to launch on April 10 in China, though it’s unclear if they’ll launch in the rest of the world – especially seeing as the company’s definition of a “global” launch no longer includes Europe. A teaser image (above) also shows off a new Oppo tablet, smartwatch, and pair of earbuds.
