OnePlus Confirms Pad 3 Launch – OPPO Pad 2 Pro In Disguise?

The OnePlus Pad 3 has been confirmed! OnePlus confirmed it via its social media channels. Not only that, but the company shared the design of the tablet and some specifications as well, not to mention the launch date. Let’s take it one step at a time.
The OnePlus Pad 3 will look identical to the OPPO Pad 2 Pro
You can check out its design below. Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus Pad 3 will be a rebranded OPPO Pad 2 Pro, which launched last week. Chances are that the specifications will also be the same.
It will offer a rather boxy design, save for the rounded corners. Its front and back sides will be flat, as will its frame all around the phone. The bezels on the front will be quite thin, especially for a tablet, while a single camera will sit on the back. It will protrude and be included in a pill-shaped camera island.

OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus Pad 3 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Open Cavas feature has been teased as well, for “next-level multitasking”. That is a feature that the OnePlus Open rocked and popularized.
The color of the tablet that you can see in the image above is called ‘Storm Blue’. There’s a good chance that will be the only color variant available, based on how OnePlus phrased its teaser. It remains to be seen.
OnePlus’ new flagship tablet will launch on June 5
The OnePlus Pad 3 will become official on June 5, the company has announced. The announcement came via the ‘OnePlus Europe’ X handle, which directly confirms that it will launch in Europe, amongst other markets.
If it ends up having the same specs as the OPPO Pad 2 Pro, we’ll get a 13.2-inch 3.4K (3392 x 2400) display with a 144Hz (variable) refresh rate. LPDDR5X RAM will be used, along with UFS 4.0 flash storage.
OnePlus will also utilize a 12,140mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast wired charging. Android 15 will come pre-installed, with OxygenOS 15 on top of it. Bluetooth 5.4 will also be a part of the package, and much more.
