OnePlus’ Compact Powerhouse Goes Global June 5 — Sort Of

Contents
OnePlus is getting ready to launch a global variant of its compact flagship, which will happen on June 5. That may sound great, but it’s not, not really, as the availability of that global model will be rather limited.
OnePlus’ compact powerhouse smartphone will get its first global variant on June 5
The OnePlus 13T launched in China last month. That device will be called the OnePlus 13s outside of China, so its global model will carry that name, and that’s the variant that we’re talking about here.
Unfortunately, at least for now, the OnePlus 13s will launch in India only, as far as markets outside of China are concerned. This launch event, on June 5, is related to India only. We are hoping that OnePlus will push the device to more markets later on, but we’re not sure.
The phone will launch on June 5 at noon IST. That translates to 8:30 CET, 2:30 EST, 7:30 BST. The thing is, it doesn’t really matter, as this launch event is focused on India. We won’t be getting information about availability in other countries.
This model will come in a green color too
When announcing this launch event, OnePlus also confirmed the color variants of the OnePlus 13s. They won’t be the same as the ones for the OnePlus 13T, well, one won’t. The Black and Pink variants will pour over from the OnePlus 13T, but not the Green model. The Green variant will be exclusive to the OnePlus 13s. You can check out all three of them below.

As far as the rest of the specs are concerned, this phone will almost certainly be identical to the OnePlus 13T. It will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the phone will utilize LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. We’re not sure about the exact combinations yet, though.
A 6.32-inch 2640 x 1216 LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate will also be a part of the package. The bezels around it will be very thin, and the display itself will be flat.
A 6,260mAh battery will sit inside the phone, that is a silicon-carbon battery. 80W wired charging will be supported, along with 5W reverse wired charging. This phone will include stereo speakers and ship with Android 15 with OxygenOS 15 on top.
