OnePlus 13T Set To Officially Launch Next Week With Key Specs Confirmed

After teasers and leaks we now have an official launch date for the OnePlus 13T as the company has confirmed it will be unveiled next week in China.

The device, which looks set to offer a smaller footprint but retain key flagship features is set for launch on April 24 in China according to the official OnePlus Weibo account. At least based on this early look, the handset will ship in 3 colors: a matte black finish, a gray-silver, and light pink hue. Several follow up post have shown just how small the handset will actually be with it’s 6.32-inch screen.

We know from previous leaks that the OnePlus 13T is going to launch with some impressive hardware. From the outset, it will practically mimic the core spec sheet of the similarly excellent OnePlus 13. That means it’ll utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 6,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, likely with fast charging in tow.

OnePlus has not provided any details on the camera system, but at least based on the renders it looks very similar to the camera bump you’ll find at the back of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. We’re yet to hear any camera specs at this stage. Another contentious design choice is the removal of the alert slider, which is getting ditched this year in favor of an action button. This could be a controversial decision as it could pave the way for the removal of the slider in future OnePlus product releases.

Reservations have already opened for the handset on Chinese retailers such as JD, the official Oppo storefront, and more. However, no pricing has been noted, nor do we know if this handset will come to more regions, but we’re hopeful OnePlus is prepping a global launch in the coming months.
