After some teasers and minor reveals, the OnePlus 13T is now officially available in China as a potentially enticing compact flagship Android smartphone.
For years many have lamented the lack of smaller phones that offer top tier specifications and hardware. With the OnePlus 13T, the Chinese OEM is offering a 6.32-inch smartphone that measures in at just 8.2mm thick. The completely flat AMOLED display looks to be another stellar offering from OnePlus with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1600 nit peak brightness and is coated in Oppo’s Crystal Shield Glass for added protection. Biometric unlocks are possible via the in-display optical fingerprint scanner or via software-based Face Unlock.
The OnePlus 13 T’s svelte package includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256/512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. A frankly massive 6,260mAh silicon-carbon battery is also tucked into the wafer-thin phone. Thanks to the SuperVOOC charging system, charging is available at up to 80W speeds. Sadly, it appears that magnetic charging is not available here, much like the OnePlus 13.

That’s an impressive base for any device, but there are other improvements found on the OnePlus 13T including a huge 4400mm2 vapor chamber for cooling. This is said to utilize a 3D structure to enhance heat dissipation and, therefore, temperature control when doing intense tasks.
OnePlus’s signature Alert Slider is being ditched here for the first time in favor of a dedicated “Shortcut Key” that mimics the Action Button found on recent iPhone 16 units. This key is found in the same place that the Alert Slider was commonly placed on previous OnePlus devices and lets you quickly do things like turn on the flashlight/torch, enable Do Not Disturb, access the camera, take a screenshot, record a voice note, and change ring modes.

At the rear, there is a dual camera system that consists of a 50MP main sensor and 50MP 2x telephoto lens. This looks to be a great choice as it will provide greater flexibility than a low quality ultrawide – something lots of other phones tend to opt for with dual systems. The OnePlus 13T selfie camera is rated at 16MP and housed in a now-standard punch-hole notch in the display.
Annoyingly, there is no mention of Hasselblad tuning with that camera system. This isn’t out of the ordinary for non-main series OnePlus hardware, but it could mean less impressive images than the regular OnePlus 13. However, the system is much more impressive than the OnePlus 13R setup.
The OnePlus 13T starts at CNY 3,399 (approximately $470) for the 12GB + 256GB model and reaches up to CNY 4,499 (around $620) for the top-tier 16GB + 1TB version. It’s available in gray, black, and pink colorways.
While the initial launch was limited to the Chinese market, OnePlus has a history of releasing devices globally after a domestic launch. You may remember that the OnePlus 13 was announced in China in late October 2024 and then saw a global release in January 2025. While it’s not confirmed, it would be great to see the OnePlus 13T in more markets as it looks to be a very enticing device.
