OnePlus 13 Mini Specifications Appear Ahead Of OnePlus 13 Launch
Contents
Back in November, it was reported that OnePlus could launch a flagship compact smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Well, the OnePlus 13 Mini could be its name, and its specifications have just appeared.
The OnePlus 13 Mini specifications have surfaced ahead of OnePlus 13 global launch
The specs have been shared by Digital Chat Station, one of the most prominent Chinese tipsters. Before we start, do note that the OnePlus 13T could also be the name, but the source claims it will be smaller than the OnePlus 13.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC is mentioned by the tipster. So, basically as expected, Qualcomm’s most powerful processor for the compact flagship smartphone. A 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display is also mentioned. It will be a quad micro-curved display. In other words, it will have curved glass on top, which will be curved on all sides, while the display itself will be flat. That’s in the same vein as the OnePlus 13.
It will include a periscope telephoto camera, it seems
The phone is also said to include a metal frame and a glass back. The tipster even talked about the cameras that we’ll get on the phone. A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX906 sensor), along with an 8-megapixel ultrawide unit, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (3x optical zoom).
An optical fingerprint will seemingly also be included. By the looks of it, this could be just a rebranding of the OPPO Find X8 Mini which is also rumored. Both of those phones are tipped to arrive, and their rumored specs do seem quite similar.
There could be some differences between the two, though, according to Digital Chat Station. Those differences could include a processor, image processor, and possibly even cameras. The OPPO Find X8 Mini is tipped to include the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. It remains to be seen. The OPPO Find X8 Mini will launch alongside the OPPO Find X8 Ultra, allegedly.
