OnePlus 13 Mini Could Include Only Two Cameras On The Back

According to a new leak from China, the upcoming OnePlus 13 Mini could include only two cameras on the back. This information comes from Digital Chat Station, one of the best-known tipsters in the industry.

What’s interesting is that the same source suggested the phone will feature three rear cameras not long ago, last month. Well, it seems like he received different information in the meantime.

He now claims that the OnePlus 13 Mini will feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with a 2x optical zoom. Previously, he mentioned a 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX906 sensor), a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (3x optical zoom), and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.

While not having that 8-megapixel ultrawide camera is not a big deal, we sure hope that the telephoto camera he mentioned is actually a periscope telephoto camera. That’s a huge difference right there.

As many of you know, the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R have both launched already. They are available to purchase as we speak. The OnePlus 13 Mini is expected to become the third member of that family at some point.

Its launch timeframe is still a mystery

The launch date is still a mystery. OnePlus could end up waiting until H2 2025 even in order to launch the device, though that’s just a wild guess. The device is said to include the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, though.

A 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display was also mentioned earlier, and that panel will be flat. OnePlus will most likely utilize the quad micro-curved setup, with curved glass on top of the display.

We’re still not sure about the battery size. Android 15 will come pre-installed, though, with OxygenOS 15, if this phone makes its way to global markets.
