One UI 7 US Rollout To Start On The Promised Date; No Delays

The wait for One UI 7 has been a tumultuous process for many Galaxy device fans. They’ve had to wait months for the new firmware and deal with Samsung’s confusing moves. The latest one suggested a possible delay in the OTA rollout for the US. However, it appears the company will release One UI 7 on the originally promised date for US users.
Samsung confirmed this month that it will start the One UI 7 rollout on April 7. The date may change depending on the region, but the process is expected to begin globally next month. For example, subsequent announcements from Samsung’s US and Singapore branches mentioned April 10 and 14 as rollout dates, respectively. That said, the blog post with the US announcement had mysteriously disappeared.
Samsung’s blog post with One UI 7’s US release date has been restored; to start on April 10
Of course, this led many to believe that Samsung would delay the update rollout date again. After all, why else would the company quietly remove the blog post? However, it appears it was all a mistake, and Samsung will release One UI 7 in the US starting April 10. The previously removed blog post is now available again.
There’s no official explanation for Samsung’s newsroom blog post’s sudden disappearance. However, for many, the most important thing is that the new firmware will arrive “on time”—after several months of waiting—on their Galaxy devices.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy S24 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, will be the first models to receive the stable One UI 7 update. If you own one of these devices in the US, there’s still a chance you won’t get the availability notification on April 10. Updates for carrier-locked phones typically arrive a few days later, for example. Hopefully this won’t be the case, and the new firmware will reach all eligible devices that day.
