Nothing Teases ‘CMF Phone 2 Pro’ With Three Other New Earbuds Launching April 28

Nothing is hot off of the release of the Phone (3a) series last month, and is now teasing the arrival of four more new products later this month from its CMF brand including the “CMF Phone 2 Pro.”

Announced via its community forum, Nothing is launching more new devices on April 28, but not for its main brand. This next wave of devices are a part of the “CMF by Nothing” sub-brand which has been focused heavily on stylish, but super-affordable tech.

The star of the show is the CMF Phone 2 Pro, a follow-up to the CMF Phone (1) last year. That $199 device was praised for its excellent performance and overall fit and finish despite the super-low price point. It’s not clear what’s coming with the next device, but it sounds like it could be more powerful or capable. The “Pro” moniker here is interesting since this is a budget device that acts as a sequel to a $200 smartphone. Unless Nothing is planning to drastically raise the pricing, it’s hard to understand what’s so “Pro” here, but we’ll have to wait and see. So far, all we know is that it has an additional camera sensor.

Also coming later this month will be the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. That’s a trio of wireless earbuds that will probably differ, somehow, in capabilities. The existing audio lineup for CMF includes Buds, Buds Pro, and Buds Pro 2, so this is a considerable expansion to the catalog.
