Nomad Just Upgraded My Favorite Slim USB-C Charger With 100W Speeds

Nomad has just updated its slim USB-C charging brick with much faster 100W speeds, allowing for an easy-to-carry, but still insanely powerful charger.

Back in 2023, Nomad launched a pair of slim USB-C wall chargers. These chargers had a foldable AC plug and two USB-C ports and are only a bit thicker than a smartphone. It’s a super convenient little piece of hardware to slip into a bag, but it was a bit limited in terms of charging speed. Initially, the charger was only available in 35W or 65W options. While that’s plenty fast for most phones, it often meant compromising speed while charging a phone and a laptop at the same time.

Nomad is solving that with a new 100W version.

This updated model, which costs $75, is able to put out up to 100W from its high-speed port, while splitting that to 70W and 30W between the two ports if you have two cables plugged in.

Nomad explains:

With our ProCharge power philosophy, 100W Slim Power Adapter is able to direct maximum power to either port when charging a single device. When charging two devices, ProCharge automatically reroutes power to both ports, delivering 70W to the high-speed left port and 30W to the right port.

That’s impressive given the 19mm profile of the charger. The high-speed port is also marked with blue hardware inside so it’s easy to see which one you should use.

Nomad is shipping this new 100W slim charger starting today, as mentioned for $75. The 35W and 65W options remain available at $29 and $65, respectively, though this new 100W model seems much more worthwhile compared to the 65W option.
