Today, folks over at AndroidPolice spotted a Reddit post highlighting the issue. The original poster, WreckTangle12, noted, “All of my alarms turned themselves off over the weekend.” This Redditor isn’t the only one facing this issue. Many users have complained that they missed meetings and were late for work because scheduled alarms failed to go off.

What’s worse is that the scheduled alarms turned off on their own. Looking at the comments under the post, it’s pretty clear that the issue is widespread, as it has plagued not just the Google Pixel 9 but also the other models from the series.

A Redditor claimed that over ten of their scheduled alarms on the Pixel 9 Pro were “unknowingly turned off a couple of weeks ago.” While the bug appears to have plagued the latest Pixel 9 series, multiple users have recalled facing similar issues on older Pixel smartphones.

While the exact cause is unclear for now, some users believe that Google’s Gemini AI is to blame. The speculation comes as users found out that when asking Gemini to turn off any ongoing timer, it also turns off all the scheduled alarms.
