Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 512GB: Big Storage, Bigger AI Power

This year, Motorola debuted an “Ultra” version of the Razr. Despite already offering an “Ultra” outside of North America, which is where its naming becomes pretty confusing. But the real question is about storage upgrades. Does the Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 come with 512GB of storage?

The short answer is yes. But it is also available with 1TB of storage, which is available unlocked, exclusively from Motorola’s website.

Yes. In fact, this is the starting storage variant that will be available eveywhere. There will be a 1TB option, that will be limited to Motorola’s website.

This is tricky. Because right now, AI is taking up between 5-15GB of storage depending on the device. But in the future, that could change, as more AI features are announced.

Yes, 512GB is definitely plenty of storage for the Razr Ultra in 2025. But the question remains about the future. It should be enough storage for at least the next three to four years.

The Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 is available with 1TB of storage, which is pretty incredible for a flip phone and the only flip with that kind of storage right now. It will be available from Motorola’s website only, and available as an unlocked model. Allowing you the freedom to take it to any carrier.

Why 512GB is the Sweet Spot for AI and Storage in 2025

In short, it should be. Currently, AI is still in its infancy, so the amount of storage being used for it is pretty small. But we do expect that to change in the very near future. Motorola is already adding loads of features to moto ai, including loads of integrations with Perplexity, Meta and even Google Gemini.

With 512GB of storage, there should be plenty for AI, as well as for your media like photos, videos and music.

Surprisingly, Motorola is offering this 512GB model for just $1,299. That is $300 more expensive than the Razr Plus 2025. However, it does have a higher-end processor, double the storage, and a larger battery. It also has a slightly larger display, though it does sport the same physical dimensions, so that is thanks to the slimmer bezels.

Motorola is also planning to support the Razr 2025 family – including the Razr Ultra – for at least three years of Android OS updates. So that 512GB of storage should get you through the entire lifetime of this phone.

The Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 is also available in four unique colors:

  • PANTONE Rio Red
  • PANTONE Scarab
  • PANTONE Mountain Trail
  • PANTONE Cabaret

Where to Buy the Razr Ultra 2025 512GB and 1TB Models

The Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 512GB storage variant will be available from Amazon, Best Buy, Motorola’s website, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Interestingly, Verizon is not carrying the Razr Ultra – only the regular Razr 2025.

However, if that is not enough, Motorola is also selling a 1TB model. This is only available through Motorola’s website, however. And currently, we do not know the price of this option. We’re expecting it to be around $1,499, though.
