Motorola Razr 60 Series Shines In All Its Colors In Leaked Renders

Summary: The latest leak related to the Motorola Razr 60 series includes a set of renders showing both the vanilla and Ultra models in all their colors. The renders also show them from multiple angles, folded and unfolded.
This month, Motorola will launch its next-generation foldable phones under the iconic “razr” brand. The new series will include two models: the Motorola razr 60 and the Motorola razr 60 Ultra. As usual, both will retain the clamshell-like form factor that mimics the razr phones of yesteryear, but with modern technology. Ahead of the event, a leak has revealed renders of the Motorola razr 60 and razr 60 Ultra in all their colors and from multiple angles, revealing all their design details.
The leaked renders of the upcoming razr devices are courtesy of Nieuwe Mobiel. According to the report, the razr 60 Ultra will be available in up to four colors: Pink, Green, Gold, and Red. On the other hand, Motorola is reportedly selling the more affordable razr 60 in two colors: Blue and Light Green.
The design of both devices is quite similar to the previous generation. Currently, there is little room for maneuver in the clamshell-like form factor for foldable phones. Once companies have implemented large cover displays, little else can be changed on these products. There doesn’t appear to be any reduction in the bezels around the cover display compared to the Razr 60 lineup. Perhaps the brand could have made a little more effort in this regard.
That said, a similar design to last year’s also implies some positive aspects. The renders show that, when folded, the Motorola Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra leave virtually no gap between the two foldable sections. Long gone are the days when these devices left a significant space where dust could enter and compromise the integrity of the internal screen.
The phones appear to be made of aluminum. Furthermore, the rear cover on all models appears to have a vegan leather texture. This will help improve grip and give a more premium feel in hand. It will also offer better resistance to potential scratches or even drops. Motorola is maintaining a dual-camera system, which inevitably takes up some space on the cover display. Perhaps the next big step for foldables will be to relocate or hide these sensors. However, for now, it seems like a fairly complex technological challenge.
Motorola will launch the razr 60 series on April 24. The Motorola razr 60 Ultra could be called the “Motorola razr 60 Plus” in some regions.
