LG has expanded its range of ultrawide OLED gaming monitors in the US by launching two new models. Part of LG’s UltraGear OLED range, the new monitors also come with integrated smart TV functionality through the brand’s webOS. LG has launched its latest products soon after the rival Samsung released a few high-end gaming monitors of its own in the States.

LG’s new OLED monitors flaunt curved displays for an ultimate gaming experience

LG’s new gaming monitors include the 39-inch UltraGear OLED 39GX90SA and the 45-inch UltraGear OLED 45GX90SA. Both models feature 800R curved screens designed to provide an immersive gaming experience. LG has equipped them with high-contrast 1.5M:1 ratio OLED screen panels, which provide true blacks and excellent color reproduction.

Furthermore, the screens of the new monitors deliver a response rate of up to 240Hz for fluid visuals. They are also extremely responsive, thanks to just 0.03ms of response time. LG has equipped its gaming monitors with its in-house webOS24, which “brings tailored AI-driven visuals and audio for enhanced gaming experiences.”

The new LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitors come with AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility. Thanks to these, they offer ultra-smooth, tear-free visuals for a smooth gaming experience. As for connectivity, LG has provided an HDMI 2.0 port, a DP 1.4 port, and a USB Type-C port.
