Lenovo Legion Tab Is Surprisingly Still In Stock As Demand Seemingly Stabilizes

Following its launch in January, the 8.8-inch Lenovo Legion Tab has only been in stock for a little under a week, but the small Android tablet seems to finally be available more readily as demand has stabilized.

The Lenovo Legion Tab (Gen 3) launched as the first notable small, but still powerful Android tablet to be sold in the United States in quite some time. The 8.8-inch tablet is smaller than most, but has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 12GB of RAM to back up its gaming focus. As noted in our hands-on, though, the tablet is also a good iPad Mini alternative with surprisingly subdued hardware.

Since its debut, Legion Tab has been a somewhat hot commodity. It sold out within roughly 48 hours of its debut, only coming back in stock a few weeks later and almost immediately selling out again.

Last week, we noted that the Legion Tab was once again available for purchase from Lenovo’s website, and that hasn’t changed in the days since. For the past five days, the tablet has remained available for order with the same mid-March shipping date. It’s the longest the tablet has been in stock to date, suggesting that either demand for the tablet has stabilized, or Lenovo has a much bigger batch of units available for purchase in this next wave. Last time the Legion Tab was available, it sold out in roughly three days.

So far, Lenovo hasn’t expanded sales of the tablet to any other retailers – namely Best Buy and Amazon – so it’s still exclusively available from Lenovo.com for $499.
